Leadership and Training Centre

We aim to encourage and support schools to develop communities where people are:-

    • Successfully Leading - helping schools grow successful leadership at every level
    • Successfully Learning - helping schools grow successful learning at every level
    • Successfully Living - helping schools grow people to live successful lives

The LTC seeks to enable all leaders in schools to fulfil their potential and to contribute to the creation of an educational climate that makes it possible for every child to do likewise.

Shenley Brook End School

Shenley Brook End School opened in 1997 and acquired National Teaching School Status in March 2012.

The school's Leadership and Training centre is further expression of the school's commitment to growing successful people across and beyond the school and its role as a National Teaching School within the Denbigh Teaching School Alliance is a key part of this.

The school has been recognised by the National College for Teaching & Leadership as a Lead school in  the areas of:

  • Leadership development

  • School to school support

  • Succession planning and talent management

  • Specialist leaders of education (SLEs)
